Mama mia! :D

There I was sitting in a traffic jam on the M25 and I looked down at the passenger floor mat and thought.. Ooo that’s odd the Scorpio writing faces me rather than facing the passenger when they get in the car.. Then I looked down between my legs (ooer) and noticed the same on the drivers mat…

My old brain box started thinking… The drivers mat is the drivers mat as it has the heel reinforcement.. BUT I have noticed the mat sometimes gets stuck under the accelerator… So in my boredom I imagined the mats in a left hand drive car..

So my nice thick upholstered floor mats with ‘Scorpio’ embroidered in to them are for left hand drive cars…

Ooo matron what am I to do!

Do ford still sell the mats and are there right hand drive ones?

I sold these a few weeks ago on Ebay. Very rare because there was the full set including the matching rear mats. Not available anymore nor are the others (which I have in my Silver Cossie) which have the anti slip clips!

I did mention the mats on here but no one seemed interested

I do remember but are they not the same? for LHD? If not then I am stupido - cos I saw them on ebay....

No, sorry Phil they are for the RHD cars. As you can see, the logo is facing from the centre (Alongside the tunnel) to the outside so you can read it when you get in. Also the drivers mat is not as "long" as the passenger mat which means it doesn't trap under the pedals. I got these brand new on EBay (but only the fronts) the rear ones were bought off a guy in Germany who was selling a full set for a LHD. I offered him the same amount he was asking for the whole set just for the rear ones and he accepted. (£7.00!) and £3.00 postage. Bargain.

The ones I have now have "SCORPIO" running parallel with the seat next to the door and I believe they are the later later type
