Hello, does anyone know where I can get a oil cooler for a 2.5 turbo diesel model? Also the pipe which connects from the oil pump to the near side of the oil cooler? Mine dropped off the bracket and dragged down the road under my car - on a moortop road at 3am in the freezing morning :( ! A new one oil rad costs £150 and the pipe £50. I can't seem to get bits for the diesel motor from any scrapyard and resent paying these new prices for my N reg car. Any help would be appreciated!
Whilst at the scrapyard, I notice that an oil rad for a Mazda MX7 looks about the same size but the couplings for the oil pipes are both on the same side of this rad as opposed to on the scorpio where they're both on opposite sides of the rad. Been to a hydraulics firm today who reckon they could make me a pipe up to allow fitment of the Mazda oil rad but I'd rather get the proper parts - if anyone knows where I can get them? Or at least just the oil radiator? Any ideas from a scrapyard near you? Or maybe you know if one from a land-rover would fit (don't they use the same engine)?
