Title: Spark Plugs
Post by johnv on Nov 12th, 2004, 7:05am
Can anyone tell me where the Sparking Plugs are on a 1997 Scorpio Cosworth. Its just done 60,000 miles and in lovery condition. (I just obtained it).
I lifted the plug lead to one Plug for a routine check and all that was there, was a hole filled full of grease, (where I throught the plug would be).
On the end of the plug lead was a long rubber hollow tube about six inches long.
Never seen anything like this in all my life.
ALSO.
Have anyone fitted NGK IRIDIUM IX plugs. (that is when you can find them). are they relly much better than the Patium Plugs.

I have always used the platinum plugs and found them to be more than adequate. john.n ;)
