Hi,
Can anyone point me towards a "good" auto box specialist? In the greater london area is good, north london area even better!! I need a solenoid replacing (shift 3) and local auto shop will only do complete overhaul. >:( I'm told others have changed only solenoids with good results. ;D

try the back of the auto trader or the E&M but be careful not all as they say , they tell you one price and you go to pick up £200 more, this happened to me a few years ago with a engine exchange, hope you find someone

Your comments are the exact reason I'm trying to find a recommended garage! ;D If I don't get any further I will be trying what you suggest, thanks.
