Hi
Just wondering if the tail light lenses from the post facelift Scorpio will fit straight onto a facelift model? I'm presuming it's just a matter of swapping the units over and plugging the multiplugs straight in. I can't see any reason why the wiring would be different. The only thing I would be slightly worried about is that they are of slightly different sizes but I think they are the same size. I have seen complete rear lens assemblies on E-Bay and they seem fairly cheap. I do like the present lens assembly but I was just thinking of a change - I think the chrome strip is nice :) I wouldn't even think about changing the front though!

yep straight swap there..
but if i remember,there are 2 extra bulb holders on the facelift ones,when mine were replaced,i had to buy an extra 2 holders for the facelift lights,which lights they operate ??? didin't ask......

Do the non-facelift rears have 4 taillights as standard? I've seen a couple non-facelift Scorpios at night and both times they only had 2 tail lights illuminated - the ones in the wings. The lights in the boot lid were not illuminated execpt during braking - Maybe they were just blown bulbs???

if this helps,the facelift ones have 4 rear sidelights,2 in the wings,and the other 2 in the bootlid,perhaps that is why i needed the extra holders :o :o

Ah well then I'll hang on the rear light I have now. I like the 4 individual lights at the rear - It looks way better than 2 bulbs - Safer too if of them blows ;)
