Hi bought my 95 N reg scorpio 12v ultima stretched by colman milne a few months ago, Lovely car / worked as wedding and pleasure car, , excellent full service hstory, (previously owned by the archbishop of canterbury) 110.000k miles unfortunatly when its been driven about 15 / 20 mins it just cuts out, either on the motorway or around town, normally starts straight away but after time ? 5 / 15 mins it cuts out again reguarly but as trouble starting again. hence the engine as to cool down for approx 5 mins and then starts ok, any ideas,

they have been looking for your car on here to come to wsm 2005 can you email the captain and tell him cause they been looking for the archbishops car .. sorry can't help about problem but it does sound like the pump

Hi Derek ;D,
Might be worth checking out the fuel cut off switch in the boot :o(bumper edge). Mine gave me exactly the same problems as you describe.

Is it a sudden cut off or is it gradual... the way it stops could denote wether it is electrical or fuel.. electrical things tend to go suddenly wheras fuel related problems are not a sudden....

My first thought was high electrical resistance as something warms up....... COIL??????? could be as the 12v has a coil on the nearside inner wing worth checking that!
