I'm unsure that my rear view anti-dazzle  mirror is working,  the  green light goes  on  but,  it makes no  difference  when the  low  sun  is  reflected in  it . Is there  a test  I can  do ?

It wont change unless its dark and there is a car dazzleing you from behind.

Simple test, hold your finger infront of the LDR sensor at the front of the mirror during the day light hours.

Front being the bit towards the front windscreen. with the green light lit of course.

Its not to protect you from the sun.
