54 appered today on my display but i canot find what it is any one any idea.

Hmm,
I've definitely seen reference to that 54 code somewhere on the main site :o!!

Fault codes for the CC system are listed at the bottom of this page... FordScorpio.co.uk / AirCon (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/aircon.htm)
Code 54 seems to be absent though.
I'm sure its related to the HBC but don't quote me on that yet.
Try another reset or three.

hi there i get 54 very often changed the HBC but still havent got to the bottom of it. My system does have a fault and after following the site diagnostic instuctions found there to be a loom failure but havent got any further than that, not sure where the failure would be.
So the AC works sometimes and not others don't need it much at the moment so thought i would takle it in the spring

my aircon works all the time so i am totaly at a loss now ???
