Any one know where the Diagnostic socket is on a 95 2.9 12v Ultima

are you refering to the OBD socket ?

if so the plug in connection is in the drivers coin flap,situated on the bottom half of the dashboard..,it will be coverd by a black plastic flap,just pull this flap down....

if this is where i test the abs then yes. but on my old 1990 scorpio the ABS had a separate diagnostic socket under the rear seat

The Diagnostics on the 12v are not the same as on the latter and more complicated 24 and 2.3 models it relies on the older EEC 1Vand therefore is only accesable with either The FORD WDS system or the old Star tester... Its all on the main site with regards codes etc
