Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!

New year comes, new problems appear! When I turn on CC on my '95 2.0 DOHC I sometimes hear a long beep short after switching on. This strange sound sometimes repeates, sometimes not! It seems my car lives its own life! What cold it be ???

By the way, it seems I've cured low MPG by overall cleaning of MAF with carb cleaner and HO2S and TPS plugs with spray for electronics! No more than 12,2 l/100 km in town now! ;)

OHC,

It isn't the low fuel beep or the low temerature beep is it? Where do you live and does it happen in the summer??

Hello!

Yes, it seems to be! The only problem is that I had plenty of fuel (half a tank!) and it’s not cold in Russia now ( -5 C) But you gave me a clue – thanks a lot! Oh, those eternal electronics bugs! >:(

When the outside temp goes below 0C as Baz suggested there is a beep and the RED snowflake is displayed

Thanks Paul, I tried the star at first but thought it was small but it looks fine with the glow and bold. :D

now I have to find something better to do, and I'm at work.mmm

Must be something to do!

Bankholiday I doing nothing! ;D
