M355 AEG 2.0L ULTIMA ESTATE light blue mettalic, recently purchased this car off ebay it has a gas conversion and i would be interested to find as much info as possible about it, i bought it from blackpool and owner before was from mold. any help would be gratefully apreciated as no history thanks in advance Des

stating the obvious i know,but have you tried contacting the previous owners ?,that would surely be your starting point,also if you know where the car has any work done,some garages keep all this info and can (if asked nicely) print this off for you.....

Des.... You can get some information about the previous owners from the DVLA. This is usually copies of all previous log books, etc.

Quote the registration number of your vehicle and give the reasons for your request.

I don't think you can, no.

You can get basic vehicle details over the phone, but thats purely date of registration, year of manufacture, engine capacity and colour.
The number is 0906 185 8585 and the call will set you back 49p per minute as well :o. (don't go for that as anyone here could tell you that.

Best option is by letter really. Mind you, it takes a few weeks to get something back.
I did it and got copies of the old reg.documents, etc. Once you have that, you can try to contact those previous owners.
