Hi Baz,

:o i cant believe you've blown a rad on your new car :o i guess thats why you need the new stat? your scorp should already have the re-designed cap on right?

Hey Danny, I have put the rad on I got from you...but it has a bloomin slight leak as well!! No wonder you cleared off to the states!!

Yes it does have the new cap but the stat was the one thing I ws waiting on. It just ran out of time!

Nah seriousely mate i had no idea. The only reason i sold it was because it wouldn't fit the 2.0

I trust you have another one stashed away in the cavern of yours ;)

how do rads get leaks on low mileage cars like baz's. mine don't leak even on the 2000cc car 1996 thats done 138,000 miles now.

I'd keep an eye on those auto cooler pipes too baz. They dont look too good in the picture :-/

now danny-r on about those oil cooler pipes from auto gearbox to oil cooler.
surely everyone has by now done the same as me taped them over with waterproof tape like duck tape. they will never corode then

When I was a lad, you could take a girl out all night on 10 quid and get a cab home!!

The cooler pipes are covered in grease and so attract the dirt. They were cleaned and greased the day I got the car and are OK.
