I need to drain some oil as it was over filled by my not to clever assistant, I think i have to unscrew a bolt underneath the engine, is this right and can some one tell me where it is exactly.

yes u will have to drain some off. how much extra do u have in? as for the location of the sump plug which engine do u have?

Hi nick,

I have a 2.3 ghia (R Plate) and need to drain 1 lt may be 2. the good news is the idiot who helped me should wake up with a black eye in the morning.

at the bottom on the picture is a nut and that is the drain plug for the sump........

Beware you don't lose all the oil !!

Could be tricky putting the sump plug back in once the oil is gushing.

Just in case you mess it up, keep a video camera running and make a few quid by sending it in to that fat bird on the Telly
