Not really a problem, but definitely not off topic:
On a German Scorpio page I read that approximately with 1996 the remote control (with all three buttons, I assume) was integrated into the key. Is that true and have you ever seen such an integrated key fob? Is there a Finis number available? I am very curious. :P

is someone not confusing this with the mondeo ?....

to my knowledge,the scorpio never came or can be used with the "button key remote" you are talking about,someone has tried this (along with the remore from a transit),and to both the answer is no i'm afaraid

Craig,
you may be right that things were mixed. However, the authors of the site claim for their very thorough knowledge on Ford History in Germany - especially regarding the upper middle class segment vehicles. But I think it will be the best to try to contact the author itself.

Hi Armin, which german scorpio site do you mean?
I´m interested in these sites, but unfortunetely the granni.de was stopped and as far as I know, there is no
good scorpio site in germany anymore. (Except of Scorpio Line, but at that site is no forum anymore)

I did not say that I red the remote key info in a forum. It was exactly on one of the new additional pages on www.scorpio-line.de about the History of Ford in Germany.

A nice German forum is under Forum at http://www.granadaundscorpioforum.de/
But it is of course definitely lightyears away from the www.fordscopio.co.uk forum and homehpage. ;)
