:) hi evereone small problem got a radio 2007 r and tryed to put a 6000cd in problem is the connetor do sll not fit the slot for the load speakers is totaly different the male is rectangle and in the cd is squarle can any one help sollove this problem . ::)

The 2007 has a seperate AMP - not sure if the 6000 does but that could be the problem see my write up on the 2007 to 7000 here http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/radioupgrade.htm

6000 does not have a seperate amp as i have just fitted 6000cd to my escort

as badboytunes said ..the 6000 won't do ..it has an integral amp ... and as daven says ..you will have to follow that exact upgrade to use the 6000 ... cheers STN

if you have a late scorpio the 6000 will go straight in, i changed my 7000 to a 6000 and it was a piece of p--s to put in as all the connections were the same. i chose the 6000 as it has a cd slot on the fascia as opposed to the prehistoric cassette slot on the front of the 7000.

why use the prehistoric CD when you can get MP3 and DVD video units now?
