Hi Guys
reacently i have noticed that the miles per gallon of my cossy has dropped from around 20-22 urban to around 15-17, i must admit that due to the cold weather i have been reluctant to opened the bonnet but has anyone any ideas as to what could have caused this sudden drop in mpg, is there a problem or is this simply down to the cold.

Hmm... me up to work... 3 miles not yet warm.. 6 to 8 mpg... run her up a motorway for 20 miles 28 to 30 mpg.
I didn't buy it for fuel economy.... it's not really in the spec sheet.
Clean the MAF you will see loads of new numbers on the fuel computer.. mostly good..

i used to get 19 mph on my 2.0 still got to look at the maf.
But at the end of just the one tank of BP Untima petrol the mph shot up to 22.
Now I am on the second tank of this its stopping on 23 mph.
So I shall be using that for sure now on all cars.

my scorp did as little as 8 mpg with the lead foot... thats what i bought it for.... ;D but did manage 27 on a run
