Title: Bad tensioners, what do you think! Post by Rubbersmoke on Mar 1st, 2005, 4:39pm Hi all! I have made a forum for all who have probs with Camchain and bad tensioners in the 24-v Cosworth engines! I will collect all owners who have or had those problems on a list, I am trying to let the Ford and Cosworth co give us all, new parts for free or Ford must mount new tensioners and chains for free. It's time for them to take resposible for the mistake they have done when they made our engines >:( If you think this is a good idea, let me know what you think! Post by Tobbe on Mar 1st, 2005, 5:42pm Kjelle, I guess the real problem is actually the chain getting wear/exstended and not the tensioner, and I can't imagine that ford will pay for that, unfortunely. I've started a little "project" in order to try to eliminate the start up rattle, just wait and see how it goes. But please advise FORD that there is a big problem with the camshaftdrive. But I think they are allready aware of it. //Tobbe |

So they will certainly not be interested. I think we are on are own! |
