Title: fluctuating water temp Post by liammac on Mar 3rd, 2005, 11:44am i'll be driving along in my 24v with the temp steady at 1/2 way and it'll drop to blue for a minute or so, then back to where it should be..... needle moves quite fast. doesn't seem to affect the car. i wonder what is the matter. liam |

I think there's a reference in the site index relating to a gauge fault ..so i'll look when i get a min ....... regards ...STN |

Title: Re: fluctuating water temp Post by LiverpaulH on Mar 8th, 2005, 9:53am Yes dodgy sensor is very likely. I had to change one when I got my diesel to even get the gauge to register. Mine stopped the cooling fan cutting in properly as well so will be best to sort asap to prevent overheating (unlikely in the current temperatures I know). Paul |
