Title: Leaking Brake Fluid
Post by AndyJPA on Mar 12th, 2005, 12:49pm
the other day as i was driving home and the brakes started to feel spongy, i pulled into the garage and filled up the brake reservoir which took a full bottle of fluid, i then continued to drive home and by the time i got there (about 5 miles) the brake reservoir was empty again

any ideas where i should be looking for a leak, or is there a common problem like this ?

cheers

Andy

With losing that amount of fluid, I think it would be fairly easy to pinpoint  the  area of leakage, just pump the pedal a few times while stationary and  look for the puddle underneath!

Don't drive this car anymore till it's fixed !

Just look behind each wheel first.... thats the easiest place to start or, raise it on ramps and have a good look  underneath

Cheers Nick
