Has anyone had the oil light stay on there 2.5 t.d.i scorpio and if so how did they cure it i brought a oil pressure switch but the vtm dose not have one it is ment to run on a vacum system is there somewhere i can get some imfomation on this subject thanks.

hi thanks for reply i have looked on this page and cant open up any imfo for the problem i am having any other ideas cheers.

Hi,

With regards to the oil pressure switch location, I may be able to help. Face the engine from the front of the car and on the left hand side at the rear of the engine and it is just below the exhaust pipe. However all you can see is a stub pipe and a pipe fitting, it is alongside this stub pipe just forward of it. It will be a b****d to get too as turbo heat shield etc will have to be removed however you may be lucky.

hi richard thanks for your answer it was a great help as i have now found it just got to replace it and has you said it looks a b@$!@&*d so i will let you know how i have got on cheers again.
