I've got a lead if you've got a laptop and some patience and will cover postage. Sadly, they're a bit user phobic so you might want to find an easier option. My Scorp is no more but I should like it back.

Hi barry,

I did wonder if she ever finished them. sack cloth can be a female dog to sew. I've been drooling over her new motor. All ever seem to find are the rolling wrecks like the one that just died.

Thanks for the encouragement. I just hope that the next candidate is not Maroon. My wife nearly thew me out when I brought the last one home, and she can't stand auto's, especially when they are as confused as this one.

Perhaps we should apolgise to andy for taking over his topic.

Sorry mate! I hope yours is not a gearbox problem.

I,ve read some of your earlier posts and it seem you have the dreaded gearbox slip which I've been a martyr to for 18K. Do you want to exchange notes. I cannot say that I ever fixed mine but I am a lot wiser and may be able to help understand the symptoms. Mine never once reported a code that was in any way related to the gearbox. In fact it declined to admit that it had any problems at all but only a total nutter like me would ever have driven the thing. You have my mobile no. try after 7 any evening this week - not Monday.

;D just thought i would put this up to thank ron c for the chat we had tonight about my car and its gear box probs and the offer of the scanning lead hope to get sorted will post results on site if i get any and i can do it ??? thanks to ron and everybody for your help this site is FANTASTIC ;D ;D
