???hi all can anyone tell me how much of a job is it to take out and replace a 2.3 auto box as i have been quoted some silly prices for it :-[ no one has checked the car or scaned it they just say it needs a new box and i have nt got that sort of money spare :-[ please help Andy ???

hi there

don't get anything done until you have it scaned. most local garages can at least read the codes, even if they don't understand what it means. come back to us with them. it might save you a lot of time and money.
