Title: Re: Battery change 24v cossie Post by Pegasus on Apr 4th, 2005, 1:30pm Hi Dave, no probs disconnecting. But when reconnecting you may feel Scorp behaves "unusual" when driving for a while (e.g. driver's window doesn't close completely on single touch). This is normal as it starts to relearn settings. Check the site for the owner's manual if you don't have one. As a precaution, don't have your keys in the car when you reconnect. When a (well-known) tyre company changed the battery in my Granada it activated the central locking and I had to go home and find the spare :P Although it didn't happen when I changed battery on my Scorp - but best to be safe. Good luck, P |
