my 1995 2.5 td is draining the battery if it sits for a few days without being started. i have tried  a new battery but to no avail. also the heater is always cold without any work being done to the engine or coolant system ??? ???

usual suspects to start with are,glove box light,bootlid light....

dont forget to have the altinater checked as you can have a diode go bad and it lets the electric stored in the battery discharge back through over night  and you have a flat battery at the end of a few days
