Title: Puddles & A/C issues...
Post by Nick_H on May 2nd, 2005, 11:00am
Hi all,

When I got in the car yesterday morning, I noticed a small puddle (presumably water) in the passenger footwell.

There didn't seem to be anything above it that could drip, just the glovebox ???

The A/C also didn't seem to want to blow cool air at all on my outward journey.  On the way back, it was blowing cold again OK  ???

There are no tell-tale musty/watery smells or anything...

Any clues?

Hi STN,

Thanks for that - they certainly were well gunged up:

Would all that muck have a bearing on the A/C not cooling properly, though?

Cheers,

Good one there for anyone else suffering drips in the footwell.
I had the same trouble and found my tubes to be well gunged up.
STN's right though... you do appear to have done a soopa doopa cleaning job  :o
