Hi Dean.

Very same problem and more than likley caused by the plug and socket in the coupleing under the air bag, this is mentioned on the site  and the cure is also mentioned, but had a quick look and still not come to light.
I am sure one of the lads will put the link up and then I will get mine sorted at the same time..

Good luck

John

Thanks Guys
i'll give it a go at the weekend, i'm a bit nervous about messing about with the airbag, but then again, i was (as i'm sure most of us may have been) scared to tap on the steering wheel of a car fitted with an airbag when they were first introduced LOL

Cheers

Dean

dean...

just disconnect the battery, and leave the car for half an hour before you do anything around the steering wheel, this lets the airbag discharge..

Hey Dean,

just like the other members have said, dissconnect the battery for a good 30 mins before working on any of the airbag system. If your not getting a steady flash on the cluster i'd start with the clockspring connection (there is a little yellow plug underneath the drivers side airbag. make sure this is pushed in tight). Sometimes is could be one of the pretensioners on either the drivers or passengers seat. The multiplugs are located underneath each seat. You may also want to check the conection at the back of the instrument cluster.
