Right, well i got my brand new key fob this morning, reprogram it via the correct procedure and hey presto it worked first time,

However i went to use it again 10 mins after it worked the first time and nothing, i tried to reprogram it again but didnt work this time so im thinking could be something to do with the sensor in the car perhaps ??

I have no idea, has somebody got any insight as to why my old key fob and my brand new straight out the packet key fob has stopped working ???

This topic has been covered numerous times and there are two methods of programing the remotes depending on the year of the car.

BUT if you wish to programme more than ONE remote then the method mentioned on themain site HAS to be used.

I have two remotes programmed to my car an early one and the method I always used was a stated in the handbook.
However when I purchased a second remote the only method that would work work was the one published. Ie turn the key on and off four times until a ding is heard then press the buton on the remote etc etc etc...
