Hi,

I have two Scorps. My 12V Ultima is on its last legs, so I thought I would move the electric seats out of that into my Cossie. The Cossie is only an Executive, so has manual seats.

I took all the wiring out of the ultima up to the point where it joins the main loom on the drivers side sill.

when I get the seats into the Cossie, I see there is a wiring difference at this end.

the ultima has 6 wires coming from the loom in the sill to the drivers seat, and the Cossie only has 4, and none of the colours seam to match (although I think orange and black were in both)

So now I have my airbag light flashing as I have no connections to the drivers seat.

I'm kinda hoping the extra wires on the ultima are for seat memory (so not bothered), but the other 4 don't match up.

Can anyone help with matching the 4 from my Cossie to the correct 4 from the ultima seat?

Please don't point me to a wiring diagram, they're all Greek to me.

If I remeber correctly the take off for the electric seats is on the passenger side under the carpet just in front of the passenger seat.
There should be a large plug with the wires going/coming off the main harness. the seat wiring loom just should plug into that and then go to the centre consul if it has heated.

The actual power for the seats If remember correctly is white and black its is only a two pin plug .

Black is always earth/return on the scorpio so you could try the wires with a live feed from the battery to check which one it is.

The airbag plug is the YELLOW one so if thats not connected then the light will flash as far as I know.

The memory module is on the drivers seat and is a large black box near the front of it.

Hi,

I know which cable you mean I have that from the ultima - it goes to the centre console then to both seats, but there is no power to the seats.

But the driver seat has an extra lead (6 wires) that comes out and wants something from the loom on the drivers sill (only 4 wires)
