Hi gang,

I noticed a few days ago that when I change from 3rd to 4th (manual box, of course) a strange noise comes from the gear lever area.

The noise? Well, kind of a plasticky "plock" noise... Not easy to describe but it definitely sounds more like plastic than anything mechanical...

Basically I thought I'd take off the gear lever surround and/or centre console to take a look - does anyone have any advice on removing these bits?

There doesn't appear to be anything on the main site about it.
