Title: Cat Rattle Post by Boblavens on Jul 7th, 2005, 1:09pm Can anyone describe "Cat Rattle" as I think mine is rattling. The noise is from around the area of the Cat it doesn't appear immediately, you have to drive about 800 yds to a mile and it doesn;t matter if Drive or AC is engaged or not. its there when any gear or neutral or park is engaged. ???? ??? ??? ??? ??? :( :( :( |

Title: Re: Cat Rattle Post by Biggles on Jul 25th, 2005, 4:20pm Hi, I had a rattle at the same times as you are finding it, and mine turned out to be a broken bracket close to the flexible joint part of the exhaust. Snapped it off and rattle gone. Just got to get a new one made up now, as you can't get it from FMD. Peter(Biggles). |
