Evening folks, just planning a trip up to the Great Yorkshire Show in the morning as such though I would check aircon. Went through interrogation process and found two codes, a 52 & 57. I seem to remember that these equate to 02 & 07 but am not sure can anybody help?

hi geoff

code 57.... quite a few of us have that one. it's due to the hbc overheating. to fix it, you need a new one. i just reset it a couple of times and that's it ok for a while. i might try a scrappy one day, new one is £100+VAT!

code 52....blower switch or air distribution switch defective. strange one this. are you sure you reset it correctly?

for both of them i'd just reset it a couple of times again. if it still shows 02/52. i'd then try a hard reset (disconnect battery for 10mins). then a soft reset (plus sorting everything else! radio, window etc). that should do the trick!
