Title: Re: petrol Post by locky on Jul 26th, 2005, 9:57am [] Works really well with my 12v, with slightly better fuel economy, and seems to run smoother too. Only problem is, it's got a taste for the good stuff now, put anything else in and it runs like a bag of spanners :D |

My motor didn't like being filled with optimax, then again it is a diesel!! ;D Apart from that I'd not use anything else if I owned a petrol scorp. Paul |

Title: Re: petrol Post by Mike-OddJob on Jul 26th, 2005, 1:06pm I've noticed between treating the fuel system with Forte, changing to 5W/30 oil and running on Optimax the response from the car has greatly improved. :o Whether it's due to one or a combination of all 3 I do not know ??? But as for the fuel I've noticed no improvement at all, but that could be due the mileage that I am doing each day - hardly any ::) |

Title: Re: petrol Post by brewer on Jul 26th, 2005, 7:45pm I laid up my MG for seven months last year. It started first time and ran perfectly well on what was in the tank.I realise that a 32 year old engine doesn't make as many demands on petrol as a Scorpio but I'd not worry too much. |
