Hi guys
found the answer to my AC no go problem.
Some "Twit" had at some stage left the lower bracket of the exhaust heatshield off and it had been chaffing on the HP pipe that leaves the compressor to go to the receiver dryer at the bend before it goes into a small expansion vessel.
Anyone know where the lower heat shield bracket is attached. Is it clamped around or onto the Cat?
I reckon I am after the AC Tube assembly at the bottom of this page:

Now I need to find out if anyone has an old spare one cos I bet the new ones are "Silly" prices.
Please correct me if I am wrong!

so has anyone got one in there garage or shed?
