Title: Help! Broken electrical connector
Post by DJWerkz on Aug 7th, 2005, 2:45pm
While installing the engine we broke one of the square block electrical connections.  This connector goes to the connector on the left front cross member (looking into engine bay from front of the car).

The problem is that the connector block attached to the cable is the part that is broken and not the part on the cross member.  This poses a minor problem in that this cable disappears into the loom and would take quite some work to trace back.

The colour of the two wires in this cable are orange/brown and brown/orange.

I have some spare connectors and can easily repair this but I need to know which way round the wires connect to the block on the corss member?

Hope that all makes sense!

Looks like it's the connector marked N96 C920 which is the power steering pressure switch.  Anyone know which way the wires are connected?
