Title: Re: no lights Post by scorpio_man on Aug 13th, 2005, 2:08pm hi there sounds like the headlight switch. they can burn out one of the terminals. hth btw, also check all the fuses. i think 4 different ones cover the headlights. |

Title: Re: no lights Post by craig on Aug 13th, 2005, 3:03pm ricky... like scorpio man says, how can you be sure the switch is woking ok,have you tried swapping it with a known working one ?,take the switch out and look at the electrical plug in connector on the back, these can become charred and blackened and cause the symtoms you have ..... |

Title: Re: no lights Post by Paul_Boulden on Aug 13th, 2005, 3:27pm It may be worth checking the large black plug in front of the drivers side fusebox. It is held in place by an arm but the arm can lock without all of the contacts engaging, this will leave you without headlights. Paul Boulden |

Title: Re: no lights Post by ricky on Aug 13th, 2005, 4:14pm checked all thease things, reason i dont suspect the switch is that if you turn it the busser comes on and you can also hear the relay energise when you turn the headlights on but no lights except for the rear lights but no no plate lights just rear tail lights, anybody got a wiring digram |
