Title: Another rear wheel bearing question Post by locky on Aug 14th, 2005, 4:03pm Ok, i've managed to fit the new o/s/r wheel bearing. Folowed instructions on the main website and everything went together ok. Bearings went in and rotated, packed with grease and hub nut tightened. I have now noticed that when I put the car into drive (with foot on brake) there is a slight creek, same happens when reverse is selected ???. Now i'm worried that it's going to fail again. I have jacked the car up and checked the wheel for play, and it's nice and tight and the wheel can be rotated without any nasty noises. Thank's in advance |
