Hi,

I've had the battery off on my 1993 2.0ltr Scorpio which has reset the stereo.

I thought I knew the code so be lazy, I put it in wrong 3 time s and locked the stereo :(

I've sonce dug out the handbook, which had the code writen in it, but I can't enter it on the stereo.

Is there a way of reseting the unit so it gives me another chance to put the correct code in?

I may be wrong but you may have to leave it half an hour! Do this ten times and it locks up! What model radio is it?

Failing that drop the 93 Scorpio and get a 95+ ;D

Sweet! Thanks for the info - I've just flicked through the Ford Audio Systems book and found the same article :D

I'm going to leave it on for 30mins and see if it will let me enter the code again. The display is still flashing and it doesn't say LOCKED so I might be luckily. I'm sure I've not had ten attempts!

PS If the stereo doesn't work, I'll gladly swap it for a 95 Scorpio :D:D:D:D
