Title: ABS don't want to stay dead
Post by Octavian_P on Sep 2nd, 2005, 4:47pm
Hi there

When i bought my scorp, about 8 months ago, it had the ABS light on all the time, since then, i've tryied to make it work, checked the sensors, a bit of wireing, multiplugs, fuses...etc etc. No succes what so ever. In time i got used with no abs, and having no more money to repair it, i drove it like that, till i met Vlad Soare, he is also a member here, and has a verry nice blue cossie powerd scorp. We ran an ISO/PWM OBD on my car and found out the C1095 = ABS Hydraulic Pump Motor Circuit Failure. Then i finaly rested my case. No money no ABS then. But the strangest thing has happed today, when comming from work i saw a verry strage thing (for me  :)) NO ABS light....i said to myself....well the blasted bulb may have blown out....from such a long time of staying on. I couldan't do an emergency barke to see if it really works, but after going very fast over a few corners and after a small burn-out...the light camed on and remained so. Well now i wonder, is the ABS working afer all, but it's a wireing problem after all ???. In it's life time my scorp had a lot of wireing modified, have an aftermarket alarm, also having original alarm (with no remote), doors only lock from key, (boot opens only with the key), AC wireing was modified etc etc.

So can anybode give me another ideea ??

Thanks and cheers
