Title: misfire
Post by predator on Sep 10th, 2005, 8:08am
Hi I am having trouble with my 1996 24v scorp, it runs terrible, sounds like it is flooding, ending up on 3 cylinders or 4, it improves if I disconnect the MAP, general gets worse as it warms up, temperature gauge does not work, please can someone help?

My 24V had a slight mis-fire. It turned out to be a simply H/T wire fault. Now sorted.

I have tried the fault chart to no avail, also misfire is serious, along with lack of power, I am loath to take drastic action and put it out of its misery as it is a nice car with low mileage
