Morning Guys, Got a small problem with my new cosworth. when i switch the car on, my pertol moves to the half way mark and stops, I added £20 worth of petrol and the fuel computers keeps bouncing around between 30 and 40 miles remaining.

Any Ideas on what this problem might be.

Does the problem also affect the temperature gauge?Have a look at this:

Ok, I have checked my temp guage and I have the same problem as my petrol guage.

Now, can I change the dash board without losing my current mileage record? I know its digital but I am not sure if its data is stored within the dash

Drawlings,
There's no need to replace the instrument module - they're £250+ new and expensive from scrappers because they tend to know how expensive they are from FMD.

Follow the advice given on the page carefully and you can fix it yourself. When you reconnect it the same mileage will show again. ;)

But now, my radio wants its security code, and I don't have it. Can anyone get the codes for my radio if i hand over serial codes etc....

Ok, I have decoded my radio, I used the following website http://www.decodemyradio.co.uk/ and cost me £5. They were very good and I got my code there and then

no....no....no please do not pay for decoding,,,let me have your email address and i will send the programme to read all ford radio/cass/cd...all you need is the serial number....if you prefer i will let you have the code to your unit if you send me your serial number,,,,free to all scorp owners only !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
