Hi guys

just a quick question

my 24v 94 estate feels like it's missing a gear

at 90mph its doing about 4500rpm - is this right?

not that I often go over this, but I figured that if it was going to be in top gear- it would be by 90?

Pressing the OD button does not seem to make any difference to the sound or the revs at any gear, either in sport or economy modes

Other than this it seems to run ok. Is this what I should expect after 10 hard years service or is it missing something?

hi there

on my 2.3, 3000rpm is about 80mph, so i'd say it was in '3rd'. try cleaning the MAF http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cleanmaf.htm
