I was wondering if anyone out there could help me out, i have just purchased 2 new struts for the bonnet of my scorpio (well 2nd hand from ebay) but they came without the clips. I have just been to the local ford garage and the clips will cost me £32 each as they only come with the bonnet struts. I have contacted the guy who sold me the struts but his mate took them off his car so dosn't know if he kept them.

Mmmmmmmmm!

If Anyone could help a fellow scorpio owner who has numerous bumps on his heed due to the bonnet not staying up with a clothes prop I would be mucho gratefullo.

You will be lucky if anyone has them unless you buy the struts as well.
Go down to the scrappy & look for any Ford hatch back.
Most have them clips on the rear tail gate struts.
Hopefully you can prise them off before you get seen ;D

Well, Well, I thought it was just me that , ahem, procured ( pinched, secreted and pilfered to be precise ) useful bits while wandering round the local scrappy. ::)
