Title: Cold running
Post by Paulus on Oct 8th, 2005, 4:40pm
When I start up the beast in the morning, it sounds and feels like it is running on only 2-3 cylinders. After a couple of mins, it settles down a bit, but struggles to tick over.
I have changed the oil as recommended on this site, changed the sparkies, checked for loose connections etc.

As I say, once it's been going for a few mins, all is fine.

Another potential issue is that it sounds like there is a tappet-or-two out of adjustment. I know in theory that this is not possible. The oil change didn't help.

Any ideas?

BTW. It's a 12v Ulitma.

Paul.
