could anyone out there help. my p reg 2.0 scorpio seems to be loosing power. My manifold was cracked i had this welded up and have checked for leaks all seems ok but when i put my foot down it still seems very slugish and slow to pick up. Also if i put my foot hard down and the revs get up to high it blows one of the small air hoses from the manifold off could anybody please let me know if they have encountered this problem before or what it is likley to be. ta

hi there

sounds like the exhaust is blocked by the cat, hence the pressure build up. :( the honeycome will be moving about. one minute is will be fine, the next it will block the exhaust = no/low power.

if it's the cat, then it will need replacing. get a price from a fast fit place and then compere with a supply only cat...http://www.cats-direct-shop.co.uk/
