my Cossie has just started a strange occurence,started a few days ago,seems to over rev when coming to junctions easing off throttle etc,revs to about 2000rpm for a second then settles straight back to about 850rpm cleaned the filter,checked all the leads but got scared at the amount of plumbing in there,anyone any ideas?

maybe the throttle plates are sticking a bit :-/

took the cover off they seem to move freely,perhaps I'll give em a squirt of wd40?

no, i wouldn't use wd40. just carb cleaner, making sure you clean the butterfly edges.

You may have a small air leak if the throttle all checks out.
