Have to replace the heated windscreen on my 24V Cossie. I suppose i will simply get a local screen repair service to do it, but are there any special things to watch out for??

national mobile windscreens replaced mine a little over a year ago for £210.00 all in,which i thought was very reasonable,you could drop this down considerably if you opted for the non heated one,but that is personal preference,nothing major to look out for as far as i know,but do shop around for a good price,and just make sure that they connect up the wires for the heaed elements......

Most insurance companies only have a small excess on windscreen breakage and it usually does not affect no claims discount.

Yes, thanks for that, I will have it done on insurance - just wanted to make sure there were no unique snags that bloke in van might not be aware of.
