I have been trying to get an air filter from Halfords for my 12v. The one they supplied was too big, the replacement was too small.

Anyone else had this same problem?

Why not get Motorcraft filter from your local FMD
I 've ran various Fords for years and found that in most cases general service items are not much more than motor factors.
Be cheeky & ask for some discount. My local FMD usually gives 10 - 25% dependant upon part which can make it cheaper than Halfords, and chance of it been wrong is far less.

Yep, for all their "faults" I still get my filters from them :)
Escpecially since they are the only place that dont call my car a "Granada"!! (pet hate) :D
