Title: My Scorpio and a drunken driver :0(
Post by drawlings on Nov 27th, 2005, 3:30pm
Hello Guys, I was hit last night by what I belived to be a drunken driver, driving on the wrong side of the road towards me.  (Fu**ing Bas*a*d)

The Damage to my car was the bonnet, bumper, Right hand head light and right hand wing. After speaking to the insurance company it looks like is it goig to written off :0(

But what I am hoping is that someone in the forum might have a Dark Green Scorpio that is no longer working etc.... because I am now looking for a new bumper and bonnet for a reasonable price. Ideally I don't want to have to spray the bonnet and bumper because of the costs involved.

But if you have the parts available please let me know (regardless of Colour) and a price you would want for the parts.

Thanks

Danny

Thanks for the offer, but I live in Essex and Sunderland is a bit too far for me to travel.

Hmm I have a front bumper & bonnet but you would have to respray them.
Evesham near Cheltenham, a bit closer?

Are you O.K by the way, sounds nasty?

These people in my opinion get away too lightly with drinking and driving....I can get a full front end if you need one, there is an Black 2.3 in my mates scrappy as well as a few other scorpios too!

Drink drivers are the scum of the earth, my own brother in law has been done twice now, he is a confessed alcoholic and says he still needs to get to work!! I refuse to have him in my house because he is a bad influence on my sons.

Thanks for you support guys.  Baz I will come back to you soon, but first I am trying to buy another shell instead and put my Cossie lump in there. I am pretty certain the car is not twisted but I would rather swap the guts/braking system (and all the extra cossie stuff) over to a new shell.
Baz, where is your mates scappy?

Since removing the Wing, I have now found that there are some problems that I could do with some help from some of you guys who might have been here before.

First, does anyone know how to remove the RH head light case holder (Not the head light itself but the Metal case welded on to the frame.

and secondly, I need to get the corner piece that bumper bolts on to off.

Please let me know if you have ideas or tips.

Thanks
