Hi, All I seem to have the problem as a lot of others on this site no heat coming out of the heater, In the last 6 months I have had a new rad and stat I have done loads of resets on the cc which gives me warm air for a very short time then back to cold, I dont have a coolant leak no wet foot wells and I get no funny smells, do you think I need a new matrix or is there anything else I can check ??? any help welcome on this

I have exactly same problem, any advice gratefully accepted after this freeeeeezing week.

...well even if you have one of the last cars built your heater matrix (if original), has already got several years of use behind it and after the research I did with my own car found that they are notorious for silting up,...which causes your loss of heat.

You could try and disconnect the matrix hoses and connect up a pressure washer to run through the matrix. This will remove 'some' of the silt inside but no-weher near enough for proper functionality but at least if you get some heat after doing this you know what your problem is.

I presume you've checked for air-locks in the system?
