plse. can someone tell me if this is a diy job. the handbook says take it to a dealer.if it is a diy job does anyone know how !? plse. tell me. thanks dca

Used to do it by aiming them at a wall from a set distance and measuring the height of the beams but i dont know the figures etc

personally I'd ask a garage to do it nowadays ;)

Like Highlander I have done this years ago. Essentially if I recall you have the car on a level surface,square to the wall/door/fence or whatever you are aiming the lights at. On that surface mark off the height to the centre of the lens and the distance apart and then adjust the lamp accordingly. A marker of masking tape or similar in the shape of a + sign at each of the two 'target' points should suffice. Clearly no substitute for a proper check but a fair rule of thumb if installing a new unit for example.
